Carcross Sky Diving
Every year the first two weeks in August, Black Ram Parachute School begins its trek to Carcross Yukon. Classes start in Dawson Creek followed by classes in Fort St.John and Fort Nelson. The staff and jumpers then take a break to enjoy the natural springs at Liard Hot Springs. Then its on to Carcross, Yukon Territory for two weeks of jumping in some of the most beautiful scenery the North has to offer.

The drop zone in Carcross is the worlds smallest desert according to the Guiness Book of Worlds Records. A three hundred acre patch of glacial sand located at the junction of four valleys.

Free-fall through the atmosphere, at about 288 kilometres an hour for about twenty or thirty seconds. When the main chute opens, float to a landing spot on the Carcross desert, enjoying the scenery all the way down.
